Welsh Dobermann Club Championship Show  April 16th 2006.

Judge- Margaret Woodward-Sheridan

I felt very honoured to be invited to judge Bitches at this Club Show which was very well organised and ran smoothly due to the hardworking Committee.
Best In Show the bitch Ch Swnydwr Supatramp JW , Res BIS  Jimbaros Copper Rose at Slinjo, Best Opp Sex Am Ch Gaindyke Yolo.
Front movement was disappointing on many bitches as was the lack of  good shoulder/upper arm angulation. Some bitches were carrying too much weight and had to pay the penalty in really strong Limit and Open classes. Handling was very good.
MPB (12-1) 
1st Connolly & Todd Chancepixies  Femme Fatal.  Lovely puppy, good bone throughout Lovely head and scored in deep muzzle, dark eyes and expression. Clean, reachy neck flowing into well laid shoulder. Well developed forechest and tightest of feet. Ample depth and length of rib. Strong rear quarters, good topline and tailset.
2nd Schofields Jakarta Spin Spin Sugar Square outline, good forechest, deep brisket and well sprung ribs. Good head and neck running into decent shoulder. Good topline and tailset.
3rd Smith & Marshall Jandaya Lets Dance, Very promising puppy with good bone, tight feet, deep rib and well laid shoulder. Lovely head and dark eye.
Puppy B  (5)
  1st   & Best Puppy Bitch.  Bonceys Ourouse Promises and very promising too ! Balanced, square outline she has a good head carried on a clean neck which flows into well laid shoulders. Well developed forechest, ample depth and length of rib. Good turn of stifle and moved well
2nd ,Evans and Thompson Amazon She Will Be Loved.  Big puppy with lots of bone but too much weight today. Has a lovely expressive head and well laid shoulders. Deep, well sprung ribs and forechest. Strong front legs and tight feet. Well turned stifle.
3rd .Feeneys Diegos Dior.
Junior Bitch (7)
1st Dale & James Jaegerson Imagination. Lovely outline and well balanced. Has a good head and deep muzzle. Reachy neck flowing into well laid shoulder . Ample forechest, ribs deep and well sprung. Good bone and tight feet, good turn of stifle, moved well.
2nd   Taggarts  Supetas Alcoholic Frolic. Eyecatching bitch with good outline. Good head and dark eye. Clean neck running into well laid shoulder. Good depth of brisket and good turn of stifle. Not quite as mature as winner and did not move as well today.
3rd Burchs Troysel Colorado at Jaegerson.
Yrlg. B.(14-2)
1st Lainchburys  Trystorme in Association with Ashlain. Really lovely bitch, superb square outline. Good head with dark eye, long, dry neck flowing into well laid shoulder, firm topline. Good depth of brisket, tight feet and well turned stifle used to advantage when moving.
2nd McIlroy-Straceys Kreiger Illicit Proposal . Another lovely bitch.  Pleasing head with depth of muzzle. Plenty of forechest and tight feet. Good body with depth of ribs extending well back. Short, firm loin. Shoulders well laid. Moved well.
3rd Evans & Butler Amazon You Give Me Fever.

3rd Garlands Mansty  Pakeha at Evannas.
Undergrad B (3)
  1st Jeannes Eliza Daker with Viemar (Imp)  Square bitch with good bone and feet. Strange to see dewclaws still on and I think they spoil the clean lines of the legs, but this is something we will have to get used to .Deep brisket, Short coupled. Would like more rear angulation, short hocks.
2nd  Caldicotts Rocksands Infra-Red at Philmont . Brown girl who was Res in Puppy, nice outline, neck flowed into shoulders. Well boned throughout, plenty of forechest, good legs and tight feet.Good topline and tailset.
3rd Thorns Cosajoro Nina Simone.
Grad B (1)
  1st Edwards House of Marsh Running Deep. Sorry, but there is just not enough of her. She was sympathetically shown by her young handler.
Post Grad (11 -4)
  1st Amazon Don’t Call Me Baby.  Square, Balance outline. Good head, scored in depth of muzzle and dark eye. Deep, well sprung  brisket and elbows close in to ribs. Good turn of stifle and hocks well let down. Moved well.
2nd Bonceys  Ourouse Sheschic JW  Stylish bitch, well put together. Lovely neck, good depth of brisket. Good topline and tailset , well turned stifle and short hocks. Moved well.
3rd  Wheatmans Mirdale Ma Vida Loka
Limit B (20 -3)  A very strong class of quality bitches. 
1st and RES CC McDaniels Jimbaros Copper Rose at Slinjo.  Lovely brown girl, square, balanced outline. Good head with dark eyes for a brown. Good expression. Long, dry neck that flowed into well laid shoulders and firm topline. Plenty of body and well sprung ribs, good tuck up. Forechest well developed . Good rear quarters and turn of stifle. Moved well. I was later told that I gave her dam the Res CC  at Crufts  !!
2nd.Bostocks Supetas Top Tip for Mavson. Square bitch , reachy neck running into good shoulder. Deep, well sprung ribs , firm topline and good stifles.
3rd McPherson Kneckt Golda- completed a trio of nice bitches.
Open B. (20-0)Another very strong Class and some hair splitting decisions.
1st CC and BIS Quigley, Day & Pipers Ch Swnydwr Supatramp JW  A cracking bitch in top condition, well toned and muscled.. Good head with deep muzzle and dark almond shaped eye. Well boned throughout and tight feet. Ribs deep and well sprung. Strong ,clean neck flowed into well laid shoulders and firm topline Well angulated rear quarters and good turn of stifle. Moved really well and very well handled.
2nd.Revells Chancepixies Olive Oil. Lovely bitch in good form presenting a good outline. Lovely head and expression. Reachy neck running into well laid shoulders. Good depth and spring of rib, clean tuck up. Good front and tight feet. Kept her good topline standing and moving. Moved with good rear action.
3rdGriffiths Jokamily Schimeel at Amious .
Veteran B (3-1)
1st Barnes Jowendys Jazz it Up. Brown 8 yr old belieing her age. Lovely make and shape. Nice head and neck, correct shoulders and upper arm angulation.(one of the few today) Good depth and spring of ribs. Firm topline and good rear quarters.
2nd. Jeannes Viemar Simply Red . Nearly 10 yrs and looking good. Lovely head and eye, good body and forechest. Well boned legs and tight feet. Topline still good and well turned stifles.
